Earl N. Mullis, Jr. M.D. - Macon, GA Surgeon
Earl N. Mullis, Jr., M.D., F.A.C.S., joined Macon Surgical Associates in 1995. A graduate of the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy, he earned a doctor of medicine degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in 1987, and was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
He completed a general surgery residency at Mercer University School of Medicine and The Medical Center of Central Georgia (now Navicent Health), and received further post-graduate education in surgical oncology at Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, NY, and pediatric surgery at Baptist Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.
He has been a clinical assistant professor of surgery at Mercer University School of Medicine since 1995, and has been named clinical instructor of the year by medical students and resident surgery attending of the year by residents.
Board Certifications and Awards
Among his professional memberships, he is a fellow in the American College of Surgeons, the Georgia Surgical Society and the Southeastern Surgical Congress. He is also a diplomat on the American Board of Surgery.
